What we collect
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic request information (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are kept only as long as the host needs them for security and troubleshooting.
- Email you send us. If you email the editorial team, we use your message and address only to reply and to fix the page you wrote about. We don't add you to any list.
What we don't do
- No advertising, ad networks or tracking pixels.
- No tracking cookies. The state picker on the map remembers nothing after you leave the page.
- We don't sell, rent or share personal information.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to government agencies, research journals, harm-reduction groups and, in some cases, retailers. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Age
This site is intended for adults 21 and older and is not directed to children.
